2025 Acura MDX Priced From $52,250

Acura’s 2025 refresh of the three-row MDX includes subtle exterior updates and more aggressive styling for the mid-level A-Spec trim.

The base MDX is powered by a 3.5-liter V-6 engine making 290 horsepower and 267 pounds-feet of torque. A 10-speed automatic is the only transmission available. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available for an additional ,200 (A-Spec variants employ standard AWD). The range-topping MDX Type S features a turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 good for 355 hp and 354 pounds-feet, again with standard AWD.

Official EPA fuel-economy figures are not yet available for the refreshed 2025 MDX but are unlikely to stray from the 2024 model’s ratings.

The 2025 Acura MDX is on sale now. Full pricing (including $1,350 destination) is as follows:

Base: $52,250
A-Spec: $62,850

Trim Levels and Safety Equipment
The entry-level MDX rides on silver-painted 19-inch wheels and features LED exterior lighting, a power liftgate, panoramic moonroof, and keyless entry and start. Inside, you’ll find synthetic leather, power tilt-and-telescoping steering column, three-zone climate control, heated front seats, brushed-aluminum trim, ambient lighting, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, 12.3-inch touchscreen Google Built-In infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless smartphone charging and 11 speakers. Standard safety features on the 2025 MDX include forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering steering, blind spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic jam assist, road-sign recognition and automatic high beams.

The $5,400 Technology Package adds 20-inch wheels, a hands-free liftgate with kick sensor, remote start and power-folding side mirrors. Interior upgrades include Milano leather upholstery with contrast stitching and additional color choices, upgraded ambient lighting and a 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system. The Technology Package also adds front and rear parking sensors and rain-sensing windshield wipers.

The Technology Package and AWD are standard on the A-Spec. It also gets standard dark-gray 20-inch wheels and a more aggressive front end with LED foglights. Inside, the A-Spec features two-tone black-and-gray or black-and-red Milano leather seats with synthetic suede inserts and contrast stitching and piping, plus ventilated front seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, unique patterned-aluminum trim, stainless-steel pedals, and Acura’s CabinTalk intercom system that amplifies voices for easier communication between the front and back rows.

The Advance Package is available on the AWD MDX in either the base or A-Spec trims. It costs ,900 on the base MDX and ,500 on the A-Spec and includes the Technology Package’s features, plus roof rails, open-pore wood trim, quilted-leather upholstery with contrast stitching and piping, additional front-seat adjustability with massage, a heated steering wheel, heated outboard rear seats, a 10.5-inch head-up display and 360-degree camera system.

The 355-hp, turbocharged V-6 and Advance Package are standard on the top-of-the-line Type S. The Type S also includes black 21-inch wheels, a rear diffuser, quadruple exhaust outlets, red Brembo front brake calipers and a 31-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system. Tech upgrades include active lane change assist, blind spot steering assist and front cross-traffic warning.
