Audi’s biggest SUV coupe, the Q8, rolls into the 2025 model year with just minor updates and a few new option packages. Traffic-sign recognition is now standard across the lineup, and the LED Interior Lighting Package Plus is now standard on every high-performance SQ8.

The 2025 Audi Q8 and SQ8 will go on sale later this year. Full line pricing, including $1,295 destination, is as follows:

Q8
Premium: $75,695
Premium Plus: $79,795
Prestige: $87,895
SQ8
Premium Plus: $98,895
Prestige: $106,195

Lipstick and Carbon Fiber
Audi is adding two new packages to the SQ8’s options list for 2025. The Audi Sport Express Red Stitching Package includes a black interior with red seat belts and, well, Express Red stitching. The new Carbon Package features carbon-fiber trim on the side mirror housings, door inlays and rear lighting.

Standard and Available Safety Features
All 2025 Q8s feature a generous list of advanced safety systems as standard equipment. This includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering steering, blind spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, traffic-sign recognition and automatic high beams. Optional safety equipment includes an upgraded forward collision warning system that watches for cross traffic during turns, an automated parking system, a 360-degree parking camera, a head-up display and a night-vision camera.
Powertrain Specs and MPG
The 2025 Q8 family’s engines carry over unchanged. The Q8 55 is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 making 335 horsepower and 369 pounds-feet of torque, while the SQ8 gets a 500-hp, twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 cranking out 568 pounds-feet. Both send power through an eight-speed automatic transmission to Audi’s signature Quattro all-wheel drive. For 2024, the Q8 gets an EPA-rated 17/23/19 mpg city/highway/combined, while the SQ8 returns 15/21/17 mpg (official EPA figures for the 2025 models are not yet available).
