Introducing Project X

CCM has officially confirmed that they’re venturing into the retro adventure motorcycle segment for 2025, with a cheeky hint of what’s to come at the motorcycle live show in Birmingham. Dubbed ‘Project X’, this prototype is powered by CCM’s favorite 600cc single-cylinder engine, setting the stage for an exciting summer release next year.

Design Details that Make You Smile

The finished product is still shrouded in mystery, but the folks at CCM are adamant that they’ve been listening to customer feedback. Managing Director Jason Broome expressed their goal: to create a lightweight and capable bike that’s just as thrilling on the road as it is off the beaten path. The prototype features a minimalist front screen, a bulbous fuel tank reminiscent of ’80s Dakar rally bikes, and sporty number boards that evoke nostalgia.

Exciting Features and Future Prospects

CCM has designed Project X with a focus on durability and performance. Utilizing a variation of their trusted tig-welded steel trellis frame and equipped with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire wheels, this bike promises robust off-road capability. Plus, with a mono-shock and upside-down forks for added travel, it’s perfect for any terrain. It’s not just a bike; it’s a piece of history in the making!

Although Project X is a fresh concept, it’s not CCM’s first dance with retro adventure bikes. Back in 2022, they introduced a similar styled build at the Adventure Bike Rider Festival, hinting that Project X may be the culmination of customer enthusiasm and careful development.
