The Legacy of Hemi V-8 in the 2025 Dodge Durango
Fans of the Hemi V-8 engine have witnessed significant transitions over the past few years. The Dodge Challenger is discontinued, the Charger is going electric, and Ram trucks are replacing the Hemi with the new Hurricane twin-turbo straight-six. For Hellcat enthusiasts, the landscape appears even bleaker, with Stellantis’ multi-brand lineup scaling back significantly. However, the 2025 model year brings a glimmer of hope with the Dodge Durango three-row SUV as it marks the last version of the supercharged V-8.
