An Overview of the 2025 Toyota Tundra

The 2025 Toyota Tundra continues to evolve, adding new features and improvements to remain competitive in the full-size pickup market. Three years into its current generation, this truck introduces a new TRD Rally Package, enhanced luxury options, and advanced technology to better suit the needs of its owners.

The New TRD Rally Package

The TRD Rally Package is a notable addition for the 2025 model year, available exclusively on the SR5 trim level. This package draws inspiration from Toyota’s storied history in Baja racing. It features distinctive red, orange, and yellow stripes on the grille, tailgate, front doors, and wheel center caps. The interior also boasts matching accents on the seats and dashboard. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the TRD Rally Package includes functional upgrades such as 18-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, Bilstein shock absorbers, skid plates, and a locking rear differential. It is available only in white, gray, silver, or black to maintain a cohesive look.

Enhanced Comfort and Advanced Technology

The 2025 Tundra introduces several new features to enhance comfort and usability. The power-release tailgate now adds the convenience of a power-closing option, activated with a nudge from your knee. The tow tech package receives a new wireless trailer camera, providing a clear view behind the trailer through the truck’s digital rearview mirror or the central infotainment screen. For those seeking maximum comfort, massaging seats make their debut in the 1794, Platinum, and Capstone trims, offering various settings and intensities for the upper and lower body.

Powertrain and Fuel Efficiency

Under the hood, the 2025 Tundra continues with its twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine, available with or without hybrid assistance. The non-hybrid i-Force engine offers 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, while the hybrid i-Force Max boosts those numbers to 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque. Both powertrains are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid models provide slightly better fuel economy, with the i-Force Max achieving 20/24/22 mpg city/highway/combined with rear-wheel drive.

Availability and Pricing

The 2025 Toyota Tundra is set to go on sale shortly. Price points for the various trims, including the $1,945 destination fee, are as follows: SR at $42,035, SR5 at $47,905, Limited at $56,250, Platinum at $65,620, 1794 at $66,305, TRD Pro at $74,455, and Capstone at $82,670.
