A Bumpy Start at Barcelona

Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time world champion, recently traded in his silver arrow for a bright red Ferrari, and not without some drama! On day two of the Italian team’s private test at Spain’s Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, our fearless driver had a bit of a mishap, crashing his Ferrari. Thankfully, Hamilton escaped unscathed. After all, who wants to add ‘injured’ to their list of testing experiences?

From Silver to Red: A Transition

This was Hamilton’s second solid day of testing the 2023-spec car. The first day went smoothly without a hitch, and he even completed 30 exploratory laps at Fiorano the week prior. However, testing behind closed doors inherently comes with its quirks and challenges – and let’s be real, crashing is just part of the learning curve. The team, still buzzing from their star‘s transition after 12 years with Mercedes, is not particularly worried. They see it as a normal part of a driver getting acquainted with their new machinery.

Keeping Calm Under Pressure

With limited mileage testing restrictions looming before the Australian Grand Prix on 14-16 March, every second counts. Hamilton’s team is working diligently to fix the car so teammate Charles Leclerc can continue to clock those all-important laps. After all, the road to mastery, especially in a new Ferrari, is paved with a few bumps along the way. So here’s to Hamilton’s red adventure—crashes and all. It’s going to be an exhilarating season!
