Anticipated Reveal of the New Jeep Compass
Next week, Jeep will officially take the wraps off its highly-anticipated all-new Compass. However, enthusiasts don’t have to wait until the reveal, thanks to leaked photos circulating online. These images provide an early glimpse into the vehicle’s design and features.

Shared Underpinnings and Variants
The new Jeep Compass shares its underpinnings with several Stellantis vehicles, which indicates that it will be available in multiple variants including mild hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and pure electric versions. While electric and combustion models share a similar aesthetic, the subtle ‘e’ badge on the tailgate identifies the all-electric variant.

Production Plans and Market Availability
Initially, the new Compass was set to enter production in Canada by February 2026. However, Stellantis has reported delays, likely stemming from tariff concerns. For the European market, production will originate from Stellantis’ Melfi factory in Italy, which raises questions about the feasibility of exporting these vehicles to the United States.
Recent images show a more angular and rugged design compared to its predecessor. Despite the Compass’s robust appearance, its STLA Medium platform suggests its capabilities will be more suited for on-road driving than off-road adventures. If it borrows components from its Peugeot counterparts, we could see all-wheel drive options and impressive performance specs, including up to 321 horsepower.
As we await the official reveal, it remains unclear how Jeep will navigate the complexities of production and import tariffs, particularly regarding the North American market. Nonetheless, our excitement continues to build around the next-generation Compass!
