Introducing the E-Access

During the exhilarating Bharat Mobility Global Expo in New Delhi, Suzuki unveiled its first battery electric motorcycle, sparking excitement among enthusiasts and eco-warriors alike. This sleek machine, set to revolutionize the urban riding experience, is being introduced as the E-Address for the UK market—from the original E-Access name presented at the expo. It’s quite the buzz for a two-wheeler!

The Road Ahead for Suzuki

The anticipation doesn’t stop there. With Suzuki’s representative director and president, Toshihiro Suzuki, stating, “Suzuki will introduce various BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) models to realize a carbon-neutral society,” the future looks bright for electric mobility. It’s more than just a bike; it’s a pledge to sustainability. Alongside the E-Address, a 124cc combustion variant and the 249cc ‘Gixxer SF250’ will also be making their debut in India, showing Suzuki’s dual commitment to innovation and tradition.

A Multi-Pathway Approach

Back at the beginning of this year, Suzuki confirmed that its first electric model would roll onto the market in 2024. With a further commitment to introducing eight EVs by 2030, the automaker is adopting a multi-pathway approach to carbon neutrality. Their powerhouse investment of £12.4 billion into eco-friendly technologies signals a deep commitment to synthetic fuels, hydrogen engines, and biofuels, proving that Suzuki is more than ready to meet the expectations of modern society and customers.
