The freshly built RS500 continuation features a formidable 575bhp Cosworth YB engine paired with a Getrag five-speed manual transmission, ensuring the driving experience is as thrilling as it was in the 1980s. The project’s engineering team, led by Alan Strachan, meticulously reproduced every original component, including hubs, brake calipers, and rear arms, which guarantees its authenticity. This attention to detail stretches to the fuel tank enclosure and roll cage, both adhering to the original Rouse designs.
