While a four-door electric SUV might be an odd place for the Mustang nameplate to end up, automotive stylists’ current obsession with bronze wheels seems like a natural evolution of the blackout/midnight/everything-black trend. Bronze certainly does pop against black.

Those unnatural and natural evolutions collide in the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Bronze Appearance Package. Rolling on bronze 20-inch wheels, the pack goes for the bold with a bronze grille plate, plus the subtle with bronze exterior badging.

To prevent grotesque styling missteps, Ford is only offering the Bronze Appearance Package with three paint colors: Shadow Black, Star White and the new Eruption Green. Additionally, the company promises that the bronzed Mustang Mach-E will be eligible for an “optional performance upgrade” that will make it the quickest variant of the SUV ever.

More Standard Equipment for All GTs
Available exclusively on the Mustang Mach-E GT, the Bronze Appearance Package will benefit from significant additional standard features that are being added to all GTs for the 2024 model year. Joining the standard roster are MagneRide adaptive dampers, front sport seats with 10-way power adjustment for the driver’s throne, and 15.2-inch front brakes with red Brembo calipers — the first two previously included in the $5,000 Performance Edition upgrade.

Ford hasn’t released pricing for the full 2024 Mustang Mach-E lineup yet, but the Bronze Appearance Package’s starting price (not including the destination charge) of $60,990 is less than $1,000 more than the 2023 Mustang Mach-E GT’s base price.
