Introduction to the 2025 GMC Terrain

The 2025 GMC Terrain has undergone significant changes, making it one of the most anticipated vehicles in the compact SUV market. With a starting price of $31,395, which marks a $1,300 increase over the previous model year, GMC continues to enhance its SUV lineup with impressive updates and features.

Modern Design and Interior Upgrades

The latest Terrain features tougher, more squared-off styling, alongside a redesigned cabin equipped with a large 15.0-inch touchscreen. This modern interior not only improves aesthetics but also functionality, thanks to the inclusion of advanced technology. Standard features in the Elevation trim now include a heated steering wheel and heated front seats, in addition to remote start and adaptive cruise control.

Performance and Future Lineup

Under the hood, the 2025 Terrain maintains the reliable 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 175 horsepower. Notably, GMC has made changes to the transmission options, swapping the previous nine-speed automatic with a continuously variable transmission for front-wheel-drive models, while the all-wheel-drive version retains an eight-speed automatic. The exclusive Elevation trim will be available until the anticipated addition of new AT4 and Denali models in 2026, with pricing expected to trend slightly higher than their 2024 counterparts.
