Ford’s Strategic Price Cuts

In a bid to keep its electric pickup truck competitive, Ford has made an exciting announcement regarding the 2026 Ford F-150 Lightning. To counteract the expiration of the $7,500 federal EV tax credit, the company is cutting prices by up to $4,000. This move is intended to maintain interest in the F-150 Lightning amidst changing market conditions.

Enhanced Driving Range

But that’s not all! The new F-150 Lightning also boosts its appeal by improving its driving range. The 2026 Lightning STX now comes with an EPA estimated range of 290 miles thanks to its 123 kWh extended-range battery. This marks a significant increase compared to the previous XLT’s 240 miles with a smaller battery, giving drivers more freedom on the road.

With over 10,000 units sold in just the third quarter, Ford is proving that innovation and value can go hand in hand.
