The All-New Triumph Trident 800

Motorcycle enthusiasts, get ready! Triumph has unveiled their latest offering, the Trident 800, as part of their expansive 29-bike launch season. Designed to fill the gap between the sporty Street Triple RS and the approachable Trident 660, this bike brings enhanced features and an exciting performance to the middleweight category.

Performance and Specifications

Don’t be fooled by the name! Triumph is clear: the new Trident 800 is not just a Trident 660 with a bigger engine. With a redesigned chassis and upgraded suspension, it aims to provide a unique ride. The bike is powered by a 798cc triple engine derived from the Tiger 800 Sport, producing a hearty 113bhp with a torque output of 62lb.ft. With configurations like showa suspension and advanced braking systems, this bike is primed for performance, weighing in at 196kg fully fueled.

Modern Technology and Design

Technology shines through the Trident 800 with features like lean-sensitive cornering traction control, three riding modes, and a stylish LCD/TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. The bike’s aesthetics showcase the classic Trident brand with a single round headlight and sleek lines, plus the promise of customizable options, including a striking Akrapovič silencer.

As Triumph’s chief product officer, Steve Sargent, puts it, the Trident 800 is tailored for riders who seek thrilling, confidence-inspiring rides. With its launch, Triumph is ready to capture the hearts of a new generation of motorcycling enthusiasts. Available for order at £9195, the Trident 800 is set to arrive in UK showrooms by March 2026. Don’t miss your chance to ride this remarkable machine!
