Big Price Slashes on Mid-to-Large Models

Attention, motorcycle enthusiasts! Suzuki GB has decided to let the good times roll and slashed the on-the-road (OTR) prices on a host of their mid-to-large-capacity models. We’re talking about reductions so juicy they might as well be a ripe watermelon at a picnic—up to £1000 off! The two stars of this price-cutting spree? The touring-oriented V-Strom 800DE and the sporty GSX-S1000 naked, now perched comfortably at £9999 and £10,999, respectively. But hold your horses! That Honda CB1000 Hornet is standing by like a hawk, still undercutting the GSX-S by a cheeky £900.

What’s New in the Line-Up?

For those who fancy some rugged adventure, the V-Strom 800DE features a dirt-friendly 21-inch front wheel, switchable ABS, and a bi-directional quickshifter as standard, making it more than just a pretty face! If you prefer a smoother ride, the V-Strom 800RE has also seen a price dip of £200 to £9499, while the retro-styled Katana is now available for £12,499—slashing the price makes it a trendy yet affordable option!

Long-term Strategy, Not a Flash Sale

Suzuki GB’s head honcho, Jonathan Martin, emphasized that this pricing shuffling is not a mere flash sale but part of a longer-term strategy. He reassured us that they are wholly committed to affordability and value-packed products. With the new additions of the luggage-equipped GSX-S1000GT and taller GSX-S1000GX, which now include 36-litre panniers and are priced at £12,999 (down £1000) and £14,999 (down £900) respectively, it’s evident they’re keen on transparency. Time to rev up your engine and explore the Suzuki lineup!
