Bid Farewell with the Final Edition

As Volkswagen retires the Touareg after the 2026 model year, it introduces the “Touareg Final Edition.” Limited to exclusive design elements, this special model is a nod to the SUV’s storied history. With prices starting around €75,025 (,500), buyers can order their final edition until the end of March 2026. A Bright Electric Future?

While the gas-powered model is being phased out, Volkswagen hints at a potential EV successor to the Touareg. The announcement that the “current Touareg generation ends with a ‘final edition’” suggests that an electric version, possibly dubbed the ID.Touareg, may be on the horizon. As the automotive industry shifts toward electrification, it will be exciting to see how Volkswagen may continue the legacy of this beloved SUV in a new, sustainable form.
