Anticipation Builds for the GLB EV
The wait is almost over! In less than a month, the exciting debut of the Mercedes GLB EV will take place on December 8. As enthusiasts eagerly await this moment, Mercedes has given us a glimpse into the stunning interior of their latest electric vehicle. Spoiler alert: it’s filled with impressive massive screens!

High-Tech Testing in Challenging Conditions
The engineering team at the Mercedes Technology Center (MTC) in Sindelfingen, Germany, has been putting the new GLB EV through its paces. Testing involves extreme conditions, ranging from frigid temperatures of -40 degrees Fahrenheit to a scorching 104 degrees Fahrenheit. With snow cannons in action and winds reaching up to 124 mph, it truly simulates blizzard-like conditions.

A Design That Captivates
Even with a snowy cover, the new GLB EV maintains a sleek, boxy exterior akin to its gasoline-powered predecessor. However, closer inspection reveals a refreshed, larger grille reminiscent of the new GLC EV, which Mercedes declares redefines their brand’s face. Step inside, and you will find an interior that echoes the GLC while introducing the optional floating MBUX Superscreen, spanning the width of the dashboard!

Enhancements such as a multifunction steering wheel, updated door handles, and a center console with a wireless charging cradle are designed for ultimate convenience. Moreover, spaciousness is improved, providing “noticeably more headroom” for all passengers. Expect standard seating for five, with the option to accommodate seven.
One notable advancement in the GLB EV is its impressive climate control system, which warms up twice as fast as before, allowing for better comfort while being energy-efficient. Stay tuned, as we will soon learn more about the Mercedes GLB EV at its world premiere!
