Introduction to the Lunar Editions

Ram has unveiled two new special-edition heavy-duty pickup trucks for 2024, based on the Power Wagon and Rebel Heavy Duty grades. Dubbed the Lunar Editions, these models draw inspiration from the moon, offering enhanced visual appeal and slightly improved capabilities over the standard versions.

Unique Visual and Functional Enhancements

The Lunar Editions distinguish themselves with an exclusive ceramic grey paint color, complemented by gloss-black graphics on the sides, powder-coated bumpers and wheel arches, and two-tone black tow mirrors. The front logo is also body-colored, and the design mimics the color palette of the moon.

Both trucks feature 33-inch tall tires. The Power Wagon sports a factory two-inch lift and 17-inch black wheels, while the Rebel is equipped with 20-inch black wheels. A factory-installed 12k-pound Warn winch is integrated into the bumpers of both models for added utility.

Interior Design and Features

Inside, the cabin combines vibrant surf blue stitching with black leather, enhanced by twill film accents from the Ram TRX on the door, instrument panel, and console. The console lid proudly displays a die-cast metal badge, indicating either ‘Power Wagon’ or ‘Rebel’ in satin chrome lettering. Additionally, a wireless charging pad has been added to both trims, a first for either model.

Performance and Capabilities

The Power Wagon Lunar Edition is powered by the standard HD 6.4-liter HEMI V-8, delivering 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. It boasts a towing capacity of 10,610 pounds. Conversely, the Rebel Lunar Edition comes with a formidable 6.7-liter Cummins diesel inline-six, outputting 370 horsepower and a staggering 850 pound-feet of torque, with a towing capacity of 14,900 pounds.

Both trucks are equipped with coil-spring rear suspension, with an optional air-ride rear suspension that automatically levels the truck when towing a trailer or carrying a payload of up to 3,690 pounds.

Availability and Pricing

The 2024 Power Wagon Lunar Edition starts at $75,205, while the Rebel Lunar Edition begins at $85,490. Orders are being accepted now, with deliveries anticipated to commence in October.
