Introduction

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS has long been celebrated for its track performance and stunning aerodynamics. With the introduction of the Manthey Racing kit, this iconic vehicle reaches new heights in downforce and handling. This blog post will outline how this upgrade further solidifies the 911 GT3 RS as the ultimate track machine.

Aerodynamic Enhancements

The Manthey Racing kit significantly upgrades the already colossal rear wing, featuring a split carbon-fiber DRS wing element and larger reshaped end plates to enhance rear downforce. The newly added carbon-fiber shark fin, inspired by the Porsche 963, not only reduces weight by 25 percent but also aids in cornering stability and directs warm air away from the engine.

Suspension and Brake Upgrades

In addition to aerodynamic improvements, Manthey Racing has refined the suspension system by tweaking the spring rates of the semi-active coil-over suspension to improve performance. A new control unit paired with enhanced dampers allows for precise adjustment through three drive modes: normal, sport, and track. Furthermore, the brakes have been upgraded with steel-sheathed lines for a more responsive pedal feel, making the driving experience even more thrilling.

The Manthey Racing kit, available at Porsche dealerships, offers enthusiasts an opportunity to boost their Porsche 911 GT3 RS without voiding the factory warranty. Set to be available outside Europe in March 2025, this performance-boosting package is expected to cost approximately ,973, aside from installation fees.
