At the end of May, Toyota recalled around 100,000 Tundra pickup trucks and Lexus LX SUVs (Lexus is Toyota’s luxury arm) over an issue with the vehicles’ engines. Now, the automaker is recalling 145,000 examples of its Grand Highlander and Lexus TX SUVs for an issue involving the vehicles’ airbags.

Affected vehicles include model-year 2024 Grand Highlanders and TXs.
Toyota is working on a remedy for the issue and will notify owners by mid-August. In the meantime, owners can contact Toyota at 800-331-4331, Lexus at 800-255-3987, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check your vehicle identification number and learn more.
