Honda’s Exciting Launch
Honda has officially unveiled the details of its first large-capacity electric motorcycle, named the WN7. With an attractive price of £12,999 OTR, this innovative machine moves beyond the previously introduced EV Fun Concept that debuted at the EICMA trade show in Milan last November. Enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the full launch, set to take place at this year’s Italian event on November 4.

Performance That Rivals Mid-Size Combustion Bikes
The WN7 is not just about looks; it promises impressive performance features too. The water-cooled electric motor delivers a nominal power of 18 kW (approximately 24.1 bhp) while peaking at 67 bhp, placing it firmly in the mid-sized performance category. With a remarkable torque of around 73.8 lb-ft, this electric motorcycle is set to provide exhilarating rides, even with a kerb weight of 217 kg. This weight is slightly heavier than Honda’s parallel-twin CB750 Hornet, but the WN7’s powerful attributes make up for it.

Charging and Features
In terms of charging, the WN7 is designed for convenience, equipped with CCS2 (Combined Charging System) compatibility. This allows for a rapid battery refill from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes. The fixed lithium-ion battery is rated for a range of more than 130 km, catering to the needs of modern riders. Other notable features include LED lighting, a belt drive, and a 5-inch color TFT display, making this motorcycle a well-rounded option for those looking to embrace electric riding.
