The 2025 Hyundai Elantra lineup brings a mix of exciting updates, including a reduction in the price of the hybrid model and an extensive shuffle of trim levels. For 2024, Hyundai’s compact sedan family received some aesthetic tweaks, better materials within the cabin, and additional safety features.

Price Reduction for Elantra Hybrid

In a surprising move, Hyundai has announced that the base Blue trim of the Elantra Hybrid will now start at $26,250, which is $1,150 less than the outgoing model, inclusive of the $1,150 destination fee. This adjustment makes the hybrid model more accessible to a broader range of buyers.

Trim Level Shuffles

While the Elantra Hybrid’s price decreased, other trims in the lineup see varying changes in cost. The Elantra family, which includes gas-powered variants, hybrids, and the performance-oriented N Sedan, has several new updates for the upcoming year. One of the most notable changes is the introduction of the new SEL Sport trim, available with both gas and hybrid powertrains. This trim replaces the former SEL trim and adds several sporty styling elements, including 17-inch alloy wheels, gloss-black side mirrors, and a rear spoiler.

New and Existing Features

The SEL Sport model also benefits from interior enhancements like a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, aluminum sport pedals, a black headliner, and wireless phone charging. Other trim levels and their respective updates include the new SEL Convenience, which is now its own trim level, offering additional comfort and convenience features.

Elantra Pricing Breakdown

Here is a breakdown of the prices for the 2025 model-year trims:

  • SE: $23,025 (was $22,775)
  • SEL Sport: $24,150 (replaces the SEL, previously $24,725)
  • SEL Convenience: $26,725 (new for 2025)
  • Limited: $27,675 (was $28,215)
  • N Line: $29,875 (was $29,615)

For the Elantra Hybrid:

  • Blue: $26,250 (was $27,400)
  • SEL Sport: $28,225 (new for 2025)
  • Limited: $30,600 (remains unchanged)

Elantra N Performance

The performance-oriented Elantra N continues with the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, available with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Model-year 2025 prices for the Elantra N are yet to be announced but expect them to remain competitive in the performance sedan market.

All in all, the 2025 Hyundai Elantra lineup offers a range of improvements that are poised to capture the interest of various car buyers. Whether you’re looking for a budget-friendly hybrid or a performance sedan, the updated Elantra lineup promises to deliver.
