Overview of the 2025 Cadillac XT6

The 2025 Cadillac XT6 sees some minor packaging updates as it enters the new model year, although much of its appeal remains unchanged. With a starting price of $49,195, the vehicle is positioned within the competitive luxury SUV market. Cadillac has introduced enhancements in its premium luxury and sport trims, ensuring that both style and functionality are elevated in this model.

Key Features and Specifications

The standout updates for the 2025 XT6 include the addition of advanced driver-assist technologies, namely Super Cruise and Night Vision, particularly within the Platinum package. Super Cruise allows for semi-autonomous, hands-free driving on compatible highways, which is a significant advancement in vehicle automation. Meanwhile, Night Vision enhances the detection of pedestrians and animals in low-light environments, improving overall safety.

Powertrain and Trim Options

In terms of performance, the XT6 lineup shares two engine choices. The base turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine generates 235 horsepower and achieves an EPA-rated fuel efficiency of 21/27/23 mpg. Alternatively, an upgraded 3.6-liter V6 engine producing 310 horsepower is standard in the premium luxury and sport trims. This engine offers 19/26/21 mpg. Each configuration is linked to a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Current pricing details reveal the Luxury trim starting at $50,590, while the Premium Luxury and Sport trims are priced at $56,790 and $62,090, respectively. The full suite of features and the exclusive upgrades provided by the Platinum package ensure that the 2025 Cadillac XT6 remains a strong contender in its segment.
