Volkswagen Unveils Pricing and New Interiors for 2025 ID. Buzz

Volkswagen has been slowly revealing details about the upcoming all-electric ID. Buzz for over two years. Recently, the company has finally shared significant updates, including its starting price and new interiors. The 2025 ID. Buzz will certainly attract attention thanks to its reincarnated microbus design blended with modern features.

Pricing Details

The starting price for the 2025 ID. Buzz is $61,545, which includes a $1,550 destination fee. This price applies to the entry-level ID. Buzz Pro S, available exclusively with rear-wheel drive. The mid-level Pro S Plus is priced at $65,045, while the limited-edition 2025-only 1st Edition will cost $67,045. An all-wheel-drive option is available for both the Pro S Plus and 1st Edition models for an additional $4,500.

Advanced Safety Features

One of the defining aspects of the ID. Buzz is its comprehensive IQ.Drive safety suite, which is standard on all models. This includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure steering assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Additionally, hands-on semi-autonomous highway driving with automated lane changes and automated parking are standard features, along with front and rear parking sensors.

Luxurious Interiors

The interiors of the ID. Buzz are designed to provide a nearly luxurious experience. Even the base Pro S model comes well-equipped with heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats, heated outboard second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless phone charging, nine speakers, and tri-zone automatic climate control. The Pro S Plus adds a tow hitch receiver, head-up display, 360-degree parking camera, and a 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. For the 1st Edition, unique wheels, badging, and a panoramic electrochromic glass roof are standard.

Color Options

The ID. Buzz will be available in a wide range of bright colors. Two-tone paint options combine a white upper body with various lower body colors including orange, yellow, green, blue, dark blue, silver, or gray. A unique red-and-silver combo is also offered. Monotone color options are limited to white, silver, and black.

Volkswagen has also shared images of two of the three available interior color schemes. The Dune interior features light gray seats with dark-gray piping, while the Copper interior offers a black cabin with brown seats and yellow piping. The third interior option, Moonlight, includes dark-brown seats with dark-blue trim and white piping.

On-Sale Date

Despite these extensive details, Volkswagen has yet to announce an exact on-sale date for the 2025 ID. Buzz, only indicating that it will be available “later this year.” As the months progress, the once-anticipated release date will become more precise.
