Stellantis is recalling more than 211,500 examples of its Dodge Durango SUV and Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks over a software issue that may cause the electronic stability control system to become disabled.
Affected vehicles include model-year 2022 Durangos and Ram 2500s and 3500s. The issue is with the antilock braking system, which may malfunction and disable the electronic stability control system.
To resolve the issue, dealers will update the ABS control module software for free. Owner notification letters are expected to be sent July 26, but those with further questions can contact Dodge and Ram parent automaker Stellantis at 800-853-1403 (Stellantis’ number for this recall is 55B), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
